With over 15 years of specialized dermatology experience, Denise Gallo is the heart of Spirit Dermatology. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Fairfield University (2010) and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Fairfield University (2006), and is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Denise's career has been defined by a deep commitment to her patients and a relentless pursuit of clinical excellence. She has spent the last decade at Skin Care Physicians of Fairfield County, where she has provided comprehensive medical and cosmetic dermatologic care to thousands of patients. Prior to that, she honed her skills at Dermatology for the Family, building the broad clinical foundation that allows her to confidently treat patients of all ages.

Beyond her clinical practice, Denise has served as a Clinical Instructor at Norwalk Community College, mentoring future nursing professionals. Her earlier experience as a Staff Nurse at both Norwalk Hospital and Stamford Hospital grounded her in the fundamentals of acute care and instilled the diagnostic rigor she brings to every patient encounter.

Denise's clinical expertise spans the full spectrum of dermatologic care. She is proficient in dermoscopy, biopsies, surgical procedures, and cryotherapy on the medical side, and in Botox, Dysport, Sculptra, dermal fillers, chemical peels, microneedling, PRP therapy, and laser treatments on the aesthetic side. This versatility means patients can receive both their medical and cosmetic skin care from a single, trusted provider.
